Diploma in computer sciences or an education/work experience considered relevant to the position

Good knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in Excel and Access.

Ensure daily operational tasks are done accurately and on a timely manner.

Ensure that the information contained in the updates of our clients' HRIS and payroll systems (databases) is processed quickly and accurately

Education and Professional Designation / Certification

Perform application impact assessments, requirements reviews and develop work estimates

Develop and maintain scalable data infrastructure that provides an outstanding experience for internal stakeholders and enables consistent value extraction from data

Interface with data scientists, analysts, product managers and all data stakeholders to understand their needs and promote best practices

6+ years Data Engineering experience

• 2+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or equivalent

• Data management or data governance certification (e.g., DAMA Certified Data Management Professional)

• Support cross-functional working groups related to information management and reporting

• Conduct regular data management maturity assessments

• Develop report lifecycle management best practices and procedures, including a gap analysis of current state

• Stay with the latest trends and best practices in data management and data governance

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data management field

Post-Secondary degree in medical, clinical research or data management

Knowledge of regulatory guideline application in Alberta, British Columbia and the Yukon is considered an asset

Experience with laboratory data codes and processes.
