Data Centre Security Guard Jobs

Minimum of 1 year of security experience is an asset.

Use of Force certification is an asset.

Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.

Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.

Satisfy client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets.

Assist Management with general matters, etc.

3Months (100% Effort) Onsite 50% of the time with 50% Remote

Experience – Data Centre Migration, Physical and Non-Physical Migration (Ie. Racks, Cables, Assembly etc…)

8Weeks (100% Effort) Working in Chalk River Daily

Closing old Data Centre (DC), migrating to new one nearby (both in Chalk River)

Familiar with DC migrations/transformations – ‘start to finish’.

Minimum 6 months security experience

At least 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years of experience in a SOC leadership role.

Demonstrated experience in managing technical security controls and processes, including SIEM, IDPS, and DLP.

Strong technical skills, including expertise in network security, malware analysis, and incident response.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.

Minimum 3 years of security experience is required

Pay rate starts at $22 per hour for Level 1

After 6 months training pay rate increases to $23 per hour
