Overview A Creative Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports. Detailed Job Description A Creative Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports. They also design logos for products and businesses. Creative Graphic Designers work with a variety of media and must have a strong understanding of layout, color, and typography. Skill Requirements• Knowledge of design principles and techniques
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of printing processes
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design
• Portfolio of work
Knowledge
• Knowledge of design principles and techniques

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design

Responsibilities
• Developing design solutions that have a high visual impact
• Working with a wide range of media and using graphic design software
• Thinking creatively and developing new design concepts, graphics, and layouts
• Preparing rough drafts and presenting ideas
• Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists
• Liaising with clients to determine their requirements and budget
• Amending designs after feedback
• Ensuring final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
