Systemscope is looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Graphic Designer with 2-5 years of experience to support our team, helping to infuse user-centred design into our Government of Canada consulting engagements, ultimately transforming how our clients deliver government services to Canadians.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Designing user interfaces for applications that drive the next generation of government services
- Producing service design deliverables (e.g. personas, scenarios, prototypes, blueprints, storyboards) to communicate and drive transformation
- Applying user-centred design approaches to solve business challenges
- Developing creative and effective visualizations of models, concepts and data
- Contributing to a growing team of user experience designers and consulting capability at Systemscope
- Sharing your passion about the business value of user centred design approaches, and promoting that value to others
Requirements
- Natural collaborator and love to solve problems
- Ability to assess and manage time across competing priorities and projects
- Post-secondary education
- Understanding of iterative UX product and service design approaches
- Strong communicator
- 2+ years of graphic design experience creating compelling visual communication materials and/or user interfaces
- Strong foundation in user-centred design and focused on and act as a champion for the user
- Experience with prototyping tools, UI design tools, and Adobe suite
Assets
- You have experience with UX research and usability testing
- You can work effectively in both English and French
- You have experience with Government of Canada web and accessibility standards (e.g. WET4, WCAG)
- You have experience and knowledge of the public sector (ie. organizations, policies, programs, processes) and has their security clearance
