Cost Control Coordinator Jobs in Ontario

Supports with other requests from management and internal/external partners as needed.

Strong computer skills and some experience with Microsoft Excel

Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience analyzing reports and building templates

Ability to meet attendance requirements

Organize and manage all vendor proposals in readily accessible format for management review.

Reconciliation of invoices against purchase requisitions, getting approval from project managers and management. Forward approved invoices to accounts payable for payment.

Proactively track and notify the reporting manager, project manager, and finance leads of any potential financial risk / issues.

Understand the project scope and deliverables to be able to proactively manage the budget.

Review and manage change orders to verify compliance with contracted unit pricing, labour-rates, contractual fees, overhead and insurance.

Proven strong technical writing skills and able to effectively navigate Microsoft operating programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point).

• Must demonstrate good organizational and time management skills with the ability to self-manage

Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, purchase orders (PO), shop drawings, all correspondence, equipment deliveries, etc.

Development of purchase order documentation for Vendors and Subcontractors based on quotations and project requirements

Support field staff and projects using technical skills and equipment as required/as skillset supports

• 3+ years of PCO or PM experience is a must

Prepares Request for Information (RFI), generates change order and/or work orders
