Control Room Mixer Jobs

Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certification

3-5 years working knowledge of Plant and DCS systems

5+ years industry experience or similar

Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office, Parcview, etc.

Participate in the development and review of Safe Operating Procedures. Follows safe operating procedures and ensures environmental impact is minimized

Direct, co-ordinate and meet with the unit operator for matters relating to the unit operation while providing coaching and mentoring

Provide expert-level troubleshooting and pigging support, effectively manage both remote control operations and manual overrides

5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating progressive responsibilities in production operations, preferably within the Energy industry

Prior experience with remote operations is preferred

Competent knowledge of PVR, SCADA and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, PI Vision, and Teams)

Possess current H2S, First Aid, WHMIS and TDG certificates, support will be provided to attain these requirements if needed

Flexible arrangement options including working from home and a compressed work week with Friday afternoons off (office-based roles)

Provides supervision, training, development, and performance management of direct reports .

Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements .

Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties.

Assesses the capabilities of the operations staff and address any weak areas as allowed under the contract .

Adheres to safety and quality standards as applicable to duties and accountabilities .

10+ years experience operating similar type generating units, including 5 years of startup experience preferred.

Accurate and timely documentation of all requirements under federal and provincial regulations as they apply to the pasteurization of fluid beverages

Control the operation of HTST’s, UHT and VTIS processing units via a highly technical and integrated control room

Maintaining the highest standard on First Pass Quality for multiple pasteurized products

Ensuring pasteurized products are delivered to the packaging equipment on time and within specifications

Operate and monitor CIP systems to ensure that all parameters are met (Flow, Temperature, Conductivity, Time)

Receiving of bulk chemicals on a regular basis

Make decisions and solve problems using processes, procedures, experiences, and management support

Excellent computer skills including experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SAP

Ensure compliance with safe work practices, procedures, regulatory, and environmental requirements

Ensure that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety Systems are met.

Basic computer skills knowledge, specifically Microsoft Office programs is required

Understand and have working knowledge of the Powder Metal Process.

Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset

3-5 year experience working within a manufacturing industry (preferably automotive) is required

Basic mathematical skills required with particular emphasis on accuracy
