CPA, CA designation or in the program

2+ years of full-time relevant work experience in capital markets, quantitative finance, or credit analysis/research.

Actively manage relationships with issuers, intermediaries, and investors. Effectively communicate S&P’s methodologies and procedures. Participate in client meetings.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of ratings criteria and cash flow analysis by helping to resolve clients’ analytical questions.

Strong interest in finance, quantitative, and legal discipline.

Strong proficiency with Excel, and experience with financial models and financial data.

Experience or interest in portfolio management, asset allocation, trading and risk management.

Strong computer skills; including extensive experience with Microsoft Office.

Assist in asset allocation and portfolio management decision-making.

Prepare/execute trading, settlement and portfolio-related reports for management.

Minimum 1 year of experience in finance or banking.

Experience with financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation.

Strategic assessment of our product mix management opportunities- and develop of initiatives with Sales and Marketing teams to deploy solutions

Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance- preferably in CPG- investment baking or consulting

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills- experience with Tableau / Power BI highly preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Finance- Engineering- Economics- Business or equivalent

Prior Corporate FP&A experience preferred

Experience working cross functionally with all levels of the organization

Work on special projects as directed by the analytical team manager.

(3) or more years of relevant work experience

Prior credit analysis experience, including banking.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Strong Data Management skills and attention to detail

Previous working experience in Capital Markets and securities lending

Team player with strong communications skills

Detail orientated with good working product knowledge of fixed income, equity and derivative products

Borrowing securities to cover firm and client short positions

Respond to client borrow requests in a timely manner

Provide financial expertise and mentoring to other finance teams to build cross-department knowledge/collaboration.

Experience supporting technology finance is strongly preferred

Post-secondary degree in Business/Finance or other related field (CPA or MBA preferred)

3-5 years’ experience as Senior Financial Analyst or other equivalent roles.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills leveraging large data sets.

Exceptional technical skills as it pertains to: Excel, PowerPoint
