Excellent data entry skills (will be tested).

Technical and Language Skills Requirements:

Monitor and manage all collections and accounts receivable activity for designated collections portfolio.

Additional collections and accounts receivable responsibilities as required.

Demonstrated knowledge of generally accepted full cycle Accounts Receivable processes (may be tested).

Experience handling a large collections portfolio.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Post-secondary degree with accounting or finance focus is preferred; acceptable equivalent of training and relate experience will also be considered

Monitor and manage accounts, payment terms, overdue accounts, and payment plans

3+ years' experience in a similar, busy AR-focused and/or customer/client-focused role

Superior communication skills with proven ability to provide outstanding customer service

Accurate and efficient data entry and keyboarding

Experience in a similar role for at least 5 years.

Dynamic, ambitious, and strong interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using Microsoft office applications, strong Excel skills required.

Strong communication skills for negotiation.

5+ years previous experience in leading a team of collections and customer service representatives

Post-secondary education in a related field along with 3-5 years of collections experience required;

Experience working in a professional services environment is preferred;

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with constant interruptions;

Effective communication skills; including excellent listening skills and proven negotiating skills;

Experience with Aderant, an asset.

5+ years of collections experience

Recruit, hire, train and evaluate staff members within the collections department

Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss

Attend to inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

Mortgage file management, completing checklists, updating mortgage systems, uploading documentation.

Post secondary education and minimum of 2 years equivalent work experience required

Experience and knowledge of Mortgage Office would be an asset

Strong math and analytical skills

Superior interpersonal and communication skills – written and oral

Responsibilities Of The Collections Administrator

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Proven experience as an accounts receivable collections clerk or in a similar role.

Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.

Must have experience working in the transportation sector

Previous experience with transportation invoicing software

Strong knowledge of collections practices and procedures.

More than 1 year of relevant experience in Collections role
