Clinical Nurse Extern Jobs in Ontario

Experience in neurosurgical nursing within the last 3 years

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of community services and resources for the neurosurgical population

Experience in clinical research is an asset

Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse

Membership in provincial, federal or international professional associations

Demonstrates excellent organizational and time-management skills

Demonstrates excellent problem-solving, decision making and critical thinking skills

Demonstrates empathetic and appropriate verbal communication skills

Demonstrates strong written communication and documentation skills

Physiotherapy Master's degree students in any year of study of a training program accredited by Physiotherapy Education Accreditation Canada (PEAC).

Strong computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Internet.

Demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills

Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Preference will be given to candidates with previous clinical placement experience at Hamilton Health Sciences

Must be enrolled in a recognized Occupational Therapy program

Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse

Completion of a baccalaureate nursing program

Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement processes and change management

Maintain regular unit presence to support ongoing education needs and tracking of required skills attainment

Leadership or clinical education/professional practice experience an asset

Preference will be given to applicants with experience developing and facilitating training and adult education

Mentor and act as a resource person in the problem solving processes; shares and develops professional nursing knowledge

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent nursing experience
