Civil Quality Control Coordinator Jobs

•Minimum requirement of High School Diploma or GED.

DEC in agricultural technique, DEP in forest management or any other relevant discipline;

Bulk sampling and data entry in the corresponding tables

Sense of responsibility and good organizational skills;

Effectuer l’ensemble des tests qualités et faire le suivi auprès du superviseur et du contrôle qualité;

Effectuer les analyse d’échantillon pour la rétention d’eau (1 chaque heure de production), cumuler les résultats et effectuer l’analyse;

Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO) and relevant quality assurance methodologies.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and facilitate timely resolutions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bird best practices.

Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills among team members.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality control and quality assurance within the civil engineering field.

In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards.

Good knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, or similar Quality measurement practices.

Maintain and analyze data and create quality dashboards for management.

Must be able to write, speak and communicate to engage employees, management, and others productively and credibly.

Suggest best practices in inspection techniques through industry experience.

Manufacturing industry experience is an added advantage.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Support development, management, and optimization of products in compliance with relevant codes, standards and specifications.

Coordinate required tracking and testing protocols with Operations to ensure production staff is aligned and keeping up with requirements.

Manage and lead Quality Incident investigation process, troubleshooting, and corrective actions.

Assist in administrative activities and ensure all documentation is updated in order to maintain Concrete Ontario Certification.

Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering/Technology or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a RMX Concrete or similar setting

Good knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, or similar Quality measurement practices.

Maintain and analyze data and create quality dashboards for management.

Act as a liaison between management and external safety agencies, such as fire and insurance personnel.

Mentor, guide, teach, and coach Team Leads on health and safety requirements, responsibilities, and how to fulfil them.

Must be able to write, speak and communicate to engage employees, management, and others productively and credibly.

Competent and knowledgeable in Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Code and other regulatory requirements in a manufacturing setting

Postsecondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

Demonstrate planning, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize own work, and work as a team.

Auditing project QMS to ISO 9001:2015 requirements

5 years proven experience in quality control on civil construction projects; Design experience is highly preferred.

Experience with healthcare projects is highly preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
