Bachelor’s degree or a combination of related experience or education

Offer direct support in the field by accompanying teams in communities.

Experience in interdisciplinary settings in a multicultural context will be an asset;

Work experience in Nunavik will be considered an asset;

Experience with community mobilization initiatives and supporting community initiatives and organizations will be considered an asset;

Oral and written communication skills in two of the three languages used in Nunavik (Inuktitut, English, French);

Public health and project management experience, especially within a coaching/support context, would be an asset;

University degree in community health or education, however, a combination of training and experience may be considered;

Experience in delivery training/education a major asset;

Knowledge of current Nunavik issues and Inuit culture;

Demonstrated basic skills in social media management and adaptation to changing technology;

Demonstrated experience in delivering presentations and creating presentation materials;

Demonstrated experience working with international learners and/or newcomers;

Experience using and manipulating Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other administration tools, including virtual webinar and meeting tools;

Strong organizational and planning skills;

Minimum of a two (2) year diploma/degree or equivalent in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strength in management, coordination and group animation

Skills for interpersonal relations, teamwork and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Abilities of analysis, synthesis and negotiation.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Reading and writing skills in two of the three official languages of Nunavik: Inuktitut, English or French

Functional knowledge of the Office suite (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel), email and Internet software.

Undergraduate degree preferred. Major in Education, recreation administration, sport management, leisure studies, physical education, kinesiology, or comparable degree.

Knowledge and a strong background in event management

Manage Marty the Mascot to ensure a successful fan experience.

Experience developing and leading educational sessions.

Other Qualifying Skills And/or Abilities

Collaborate with the children’s programming manager in the planning, supervision, scheduling and delivery of the children’s programs.

The responsibilities for this role includes the following:

Oversees the planning of TFYIP events which includes:

Oversee programming administration- membership, programming operations, etc.

Oversee the mentorship program of the TFYIP:

Setting up virtual meetings monthly with the TFYIP's programming and events strategic advisor,

The executive will set membership monthly targets
