Casual Child Care Workers Jobs

You are dedicated to providing high-quality care services to clients and you have knowledge of practices for community care

Provide high-quality and compassionate care to your clients in the community with exceptional customer service.

Companionship and/or accompanying clients to activities and events in the community.

You have a desire to help improve the lives of those in your community

You have a reliable mode of transportation

You have a clear Vulnerable Sector Check or are willing to get one

Experience providing personal care and behaviour management to children aged three to five years old who require supported child care.

Level III Level I & II plus ECE Certification is preferred.

ECE Certification would be an asset.

Certification/training in relation to the child’s needs.

One (1) Year Of Experience Preferred.

Level II Level I plus College level program of study with a personal care focus component.

Strong time management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Work, volunteer, or lived experience in a care profession/support capacityORWork experience with cooking, cleaning, laundry, food service industry, or personal care

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook email, online training)

Able to create respectful dialogue with individuals who experience mental illness

Standard First Aid/CPR certification (Level C)

Ability to complete core competency training and other training/recertification’s during course of employment
