Overview A Cash Office Assistant is responsible for providing accurate and efficient cash handling services in a retail or office environment. They are responsible for counting, verifying, and reconciling cash transactions, as well as preparing and maintaining accurate financial records. Detailed Job Description The Cash Office Assistant is responsible for providing accurate and efficient cash handling services in a retail or office environment. This includes counting, verifying, and reconciling cash transactions, as well as preparing and maintaining accurate financial records. The Cash Office Assistant is also responsible for ensuring that all cash transactions are properly documented and that all cash is securely stored. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and financial record keeping
• Ability to accurately count and verify cash transactions
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cash handling and financial record keeping
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
