Work with supplier representatives and members of management in the field to promote sales

Service and improve the marketability of our products through display position, concept selling and price point management

Manage assigned budget as required

Report on competitive activities within the territory and offer constructive suggestions

Provides product and brand marketing knowledge through sales aides and staff training seminars

3 or more years’ selling experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment.

Must include experience with customer service, supervising people and the management of assets (must not be in a relief capacity).

Degree, diploma, or certificate in business or retail management.

Cannabis knowledge, demonstrated through experience in the cannabis industry or courses from an accredited post-secondary institution.

Experience working in a government or regulatory environment.

Experience working in a unionized environment.

Gives assistance and offers suggestions or recommendations to the customer.

Notifies Store Manager of any equipment failure or maintenance/supply needs.

Notifies the Store Manager of any sales, cash or inventory discrepancy.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Experience in retail sales preferred.

Use strong floor management skills to manage the day-to-day operations of the store and drive sales

Demonstrate strong time management and organization skills to keep priorities in focus

Effectively communicate needs and ideas to upper management in order to elevate the business

Minimum 3-5 years of retail store manager experience

Manage staff and assign duties; Contribute to growth and staff motivation through minimum turnover

Determine staffing requirements and assist in hiring; Retain high level candidates

Preparing the sales analysis and submit to the management

Must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance that is equivalent to Canadian education

5+ years of experience as a financial officer or equivalent

Maintain the company’s financial and records

Maintain and balance the company’s accounts

Bookkeeping, maintain general ledgers and preparing financial statements

Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles including planning and organizing, resource management and leadership skills.

High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months to 1 year of retail and management work experience preferred
