University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent combination of education and experience;

4+ years of relevant experience in the translation and localization industry.

Experienced as a translator in Mobile Apps, Search Engines, IT Consumer Products, Entertainment, Marketing, Software UI, Websites is a plus;

Knowledge of terminology in the following subject matters IT consumer products, social media and entertainment;

Excellent user experience of standard software, such as Windows and Office applications and standard CAT tools;

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and translators;

Inventory management of IT assets including asset auditing

Experience supporting remote facilities and users

Experience supporting Mac OS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Smart Phones, AV Conferencing Systems, Printers and PC hardware

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High level of professionalism and strong personal interaction skills

Deskside / Desktop / End User Computer experience, ideally in a corporate environment

Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Undergraduate degree in a health or social sciences-related discipline preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Experience working remotely using a variety of communication tools and video conferencing solutions is an asset.

Experience in conducting structured interviews (virtually or in-person).

Experience in a research setting, working with confidential data and working with health professionals’ preferred .

Experience in a long-term care environment or other health care setting is an asset.

Remote work & Location Independence

Full Professional Proficiency in English & French

You must be living in Canada for the last 2 consecutive years

Ability to follow guidelines and do research online using search engines, online maps and website information

You must have familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media and cultural affairs in Canada

Being open to work across a diverse set of Task Types (e.g. Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance)

You have already experience in one of the contents mentioned above

No need to own a CAT Tool but a first experience in CAT tools is required

Marketing (service manuals, documentation, customer communications, websites, promotions)

IT (manuals, articles on information technologies, comparative reviews, press releases, Software localization)

Your mother tongue is Canadian French

You translate from English into Canadian French
