Undergraduate degree in business or other relevant disciplines OR relevant industry experience of ten years.

MGMT 104 Principles of Management

Five years of work experience in a related discipline.

The Provincial Instructor Diploma Program or an equivalent credential in adult education, or a readiness to pursue such a credential.

Previous experience with online and blended delivery methods.

Experience in curriculum development and course design will be considered an asset.

Experience teaching at the post-secondary level; and

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing and digital Marketing.

Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.

Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level, in business and business development is required

Present courses, lesson plans, lectures, assignments, evaluations, examinations and learning activities

Evaluate student progress and facilitate student achievement

Deliver courses relating to: general business, accounting, finance, and HR

Complete all course-required materials including attendance records and course evaluations

Use appropriate methods of evaluating and recording student progress within set time frames

Ensure a positive, diverse and inclusive work and learning environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as experience leading teams

Previous instructing or facilitating experience at the post-secondary level and/or demonstrated teaching skills in the workplace is an asset

Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications in Excel and Word, for the Business Productivity Tools and Technology course

Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: management, accounting, economics, finance, or related fields

Proficient in the use of technology for online teaching, including Zoom and learning management systems

Cover letter outlining your teaching philosophy, areas of expertise, and experience in online education

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Utilize Zoom and other online platforms to deliver live lectures and facilitate discussions.

Prepare course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assignments
