Develop modern backend applications, while also managing the existing codebases

•Review and understand project drawings, specifications, scope, schedule, logistics, site conditions, sustainability requirements, etc.

•Use and grow your skills for estimating in spreadsheets and software (Bluebeam, Excel, 3D programs, etc).

•Undergraduate education (eg. Bachelor’s or Diploma) in technical studies or Engineering.

•Great communication skills, verbally and written (strong grammar/spelling).

•Create and communicate preliminary budgets and proposals, understanding the client needs and key project constraints.

•Perform accurate, detailed and presentable material takeoffs.

• Review and verify development designs and agreements to ensure adherence to City policy and construction requirements.

• Specify municipal infrastructure requirements within easement agreements for development projects.

• Consider the City's preferences and requirements when evaluating alternative technical options for addressing servicing issues.

• Five (5) years of development experience in the Municipal Environment and/or with Municipal Infrastructure preferred.

• Thorough knowledge of Civil Engineering principles, practices and methods as applicable to a development setting.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong planning and time management abilities;

Daily territory management; maintain strong relationships with clients through visits to the customer’s job sites;

Prepare and present business cases to demonstrate the benefits and the potential saving (ROI), to key decision-makers;

Minimum of 3 years of experience in field sales/outside sales position;

Good knowledge of the industry and its heavy equipment;

Solid communication and interpersonal skills;

Bachelor’s degree in business management; or equivalent (related experience)

6 years experience in the life/disability insurance field

Excellent knowledge and understanding of group life insurance, life insurance, disability income and health products.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with marketing insurance products to mid to moderate high-net-worth individuals and professionals.

Actively manage and execute the capital budget and production forecasts

Minimum 2 – 5 years of oil and gas industry engineering experience is required

Field experience in the Oil and Gas Industry would be an asset

Excellent computer skills with proficiency in ValNav, Aucerna Execute, Verdazo, Accumap, and PowerBI would be an asset

Possess and demonstrate a keen desire to take on increasing responsibilities
