Building Sciences Project Manager Jobs in Ontario

Team management experience in an Environmental Sciences (or related) industry overseeing activities, performance, and efficiency of team members.

8+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related industrial experience as an environmental professional and project manager.

Manage and balance work across team members and coordinate with others manager’s for balancing of work across other teams.

Coordinate, manage and build business relationships with: clients, regulators, service providers (e.g., laboratories, sub-contractor) and third-party stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related experience in the environmental science discipline.

Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand business needs and maintain strong cross-fucntional relationships.

Clarify roles and responsibilities of those on the project team and ensure expectations are understood;

Manage the contract administration and quality of restoration projects at the construction stage;

Assign project team and manage project to achieve deliverables on time and on budget.

Understand and manage client expectations and direct WSP performance to meet or exceed them.

Handle P.O.s and invoicing and manage Accounts Receivable within targets.

Commit to embracing and enhancing a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Provide project management and related contract administration

Oversee project administration and assist with design management of engineering projects of IRC; provide construction contract administration

Knowledge and experience with construction contracts, contract administration, site reviews, and chairing site meetings

Make contributions to the company knowledge base and procedural practices

2 – 5 years of experience with a focus on projects related to building sciences

Excellent oral and written communication skills
