This is a 36-month temporary opportunity.

Demonstrated strong project and team management skills.

A solid understanding of the purpose and use of social media for strategic stakeholder engagement and issues management.

This position is an active member of the university’s emergency response Crisis Management Team.

Experience as an official public representative and advising/training on media relations best practices and in regards to sensitive or controversial issues.

A solid understanding of Alberta and Canada's political and media landscape, and in particular the key stakeholders for post-secondary education.

Ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple demands, and effectively prioritize under pressure and during times of crisis.

Minimum 5+ years of experience. Experience in financial services, consulting, or corporate strategy strongly preferred

Robust experience in strategy generation, analysis, and primary research

Extensive experience developing and conducting presentations to senior-level audiences

Experience with program and project design as well as the end to end transformation life-cycle of a financial services institution

Experience working with stakeholders across an organization to find consensus strongly preferred

Lead & facilitate discussions seeking alignment of key stakeholders across ATB on ATB's strategic positioning

Provides project management support including conceptualizing, work planning, resourcing and evaluating various short-term projects as required.

Utilizes knowledge of IDEA best practices and legal/regulatory environment to manage policy-related changes and can articulate potential risk areas. 

Develops project work plans; coordinates and tracks project timelines, deliverables and budget/resource requirements where needed.

Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislations and implications of political and environmental influences that affect the delivery IDEA programs.

Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary IDEA best practices

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Effective communication, project management, and collaboration skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Lead and manage portfolio-level projects and initiatives on behalf of the Foundation.

• Initiate, maintain, track, communicate and manage ongoing and emergent issues and priorities.

• 3+ years of experience managing complex projects.
