Overview A Board Member is a person who is elected or appointed to serve on the board of directors of an organization. Board Members are responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of the organization. They are also responsible for setting policies, making decisions, and ensuring that the organization is meeting its goals. Detailed Job Description Board Members are responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the organization. Board Members must be knowledgeable about the organization’s mission, vision, and objectives, and must be able to effectively communicate these to the organization’s stakeholders. Board Members must also be able to work collaboratively with other board members and staff to ensure that the organization is meeting its goals.
