Developer Relations Engineer - L1 Blockchain

- Familiarity with Cosmos SDK and tools in the Cosmos ecosystem.

Research and assess various blockchain technologies, protocols, and platforms to identify the best-suited solution for specific project requirements.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and architect blockchain-based systems and applications.

Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities and attack vectors to safeguard the integrity of the blockchain network.

Proven experience as a Blockchain Engineer, with a track record of successful blockchain project implementations.

In-depth knowledge of blockchain technologies, including various consensus algorithms, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.

Hands-on experience with blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger, or EOS.

Collaborate closely with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to provide prompt and accurate solutions to customer queries and concerns.

Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices in our knowledge base to facilitate self-service support options for clients and partners.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Proven experience in a technical support or customer-facing role, preferably in the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and logically in complex and evolving situations.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Build, improve and maintain clusters of blockchain daemons/consensus nodes in a scalable and highly redundant way

Develop Node/JS workers, in Bitfinex’s microservices infrastructure, that interface with blockchain nodes API (REST/WebSocket) interfaces

Implement robust monitoring tools to control the stability of Bitfinex’s blockchain infrastructure

Create good-quality policies, procedures and technical documentation

+3 years interacting with blockchain nodes (ie. Bitcoin, Ethereum)

Strong passion for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies
