Backfill Engineer Jobs

Assist in project handover by providing all relevant documentation and information to the project management team.

Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is an asset.

Analyze project documents, including blueprints, specifications, and contracts, to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to obtain quotes and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and services.

Minimum 5 years of experience as an ICI Construction Estimator.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

Minimum 2 years of experience working as an acute care hospital required

Emergency Department experience an asset

Advanced negotiation and mediation skills to balance patient, family/caregiver, team, organizational and access to care needs and opportunities.

Knowledge of Social Work Competencies in Hospice and Palliative Care

Collaborate with colleagues regarding weekend handover list outlining pending issues for focused weekday follow-up

Complete assessments and applications for weekday discharge and transition planning

Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills.

A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
