Associate Visual Merchandising Manager Jobs

Ensure new vendor set up accuracy along with yearly management of HHA, COI, LOG, third party audit certificates.

Deliver cost savings or cost avoidance with skillful utilization of market and industry knowledge.

Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Manage vendor relationships at a high level and ensure growth and profitability within each category segment.

Ensure proper inventory levels and set direction and guidance for product specification and aging requirements.

Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.

Project coordinate all assigned Visual Merchandising programs in partnership with the Manager, National Visual Merchandising and National Visual Merchandising team

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience

3-5 years of visual merchandising experience within a retail environment

Previous knowledge of the production process as asset

Expert knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

Assist with the compilation, creation, and production, and communication of the National Visual Merchandising standards, guidelines, and directives and guidelines

Managing all aspects of store zoning and product rotations in collaboration with the store team

Ensuring key products are selected and well displayed to maximize business opportunities

Collaborating with the store team on business events (sales trends, new launches, new collections, special events)

Training the team on visual merchandising topics

Organizational and time management skills

Assist the Assistant Managers to complete essential inventory control functions in an effort to support financial and inventory accuracy.

Support an engaged customer experience by maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom.

Maintain awareness and demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of computers, systems and programs relevant to the position.

Stock, Distribution Center, or retail experience preferred

Good reading, written and verbal language skills (English)

Six (6) months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms, setting up and tearing down displays (preferred)

Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment (in asset)
