Experience: up to 4 years of relevant work experience required or equivalent experience through education.

Will be required to travel to customers facilities and carry out their job duties.

Education: High school Diploma (or equivalent) is required.

Post secondary education in cargo inspections or a related field would be highly desirable.

Utilize training and industry best practices while also adhering to management-provided work instructions and/or procedures regarding inspections and associated documentation.

1-3 years’ experience in the automotive industry preferred.

Experience in Inspection data management systems, risk-based inspection, ASME pressure piping and equipment Industry standards would be considered an asset

Manage regulatory requirements through effective communication and documentation related to in-service equipment, pipeline inspection, and repairs

Support with the implementation of pressure equipment and/or pipeline integrity management systems and processes

Provide technical advice on pressure equipment, storage tank, and pipeline inspection, mitigation, and monitoring requirements

Provide technical support to site operating and maintenance personnel related to pressure equipment and pipeline integrity maintenance requirements

Minimum 3+ years of experience in a related role, candidates with a higher level of experience are also welcomed to apply

Preference for working knowledge of GE-APM (Meridium), RBMI, PCMS or other similar RBI and Inspection Data Management Systems.

Preference for knowledge and experience in industry pressure equipment codes, corrosion mechanisms, risk assessment and pressure equipment inspection methodologies

Leverage RBI assessments to identify the appropriate inspection activities to manage the risk throughout the operating interval between inspections.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering

Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)

Well-developed critical thinking, with an ability to apply logic and challenge assumptions

Minimum of 2 years of experience in asset integrity management, with a focus on digitalization and IoT technologies

Develop and implement digitalization and IoT strategies for asset integrity management, including condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance

Evaluate the effectiveness of existing asset management practices and recommend improvements based on digitalization and IoT technologies

Provide technical support for the integration of digital and IoT solutions with existing enterprise asset management (EAM) systems

Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in asset integrity management, digitalization, and IoT

Strong understanding of asset management principles, including reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and risk-based inspection (RBI)

Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Civil construction experience is an asset.

Possess knowledge of local municipal construction standards and specifications.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on several projects or issues at one time.

Ability to manage time effectively and meet firm deadlines.

Possess limited knowledge of the construction administration process.

Ability to prioritize work based on risk and value, good knowledge of related experience.

6+ years of regulatory experience, field operations, or other related experience.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgement.

Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills both written and verbal.

Working knowledge of various systems and computer software packages.

This position will require travel and some nights away from home.
