Assembly Line Supervisor Jobs

Assist the Assembly Manager in Employee Performance Management, Disciplinary Action and Employee complaint.

Train team leaders and Lead Hand on the most updated knowledge and skills they required.

Additional tasks & responsibilities as required.

Education: Degree, Diploma, Certificate, Training or Highschool Diploma.

5 Years Of Supervisory Experience in the Assembly or Production in Manufacturing Industries.

Experience in HVAC or Sheet Metal or Automotive Manufacturing Industries.

Minimum of 1-2 years automotive experience

College diploma as electro-mechanical technician / technologist or similar work experience

Have a demonstrated experience in previous electro-mechanical area

Excellent communication skills dealing with internal departments, equipment suppliers and other 3rd party service providers

Experienced with MS Office and Maintenance software

Ability to attain C.Tech or C.E.T. certification

Experience working in a plant/manufacturing environment

Assembly of windows and window components

Packaging of windows and window components

Clean work area and equipment

Various other duties as required

Must be able to work in a safe manner with little supervision

Document management software: SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM360, ProjectWise, Dalux would be an asset.

Provide weekly reports to the Construction Quality Control Manager.

Initiate Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for any work or material that fails to satisfy project requirements.

Manage third party testing companies and ensure that the equipment use for testing have valid calibration.

Ensure all materials brought to the site are complying with the project requirements.

Monitor actual work progress with the schedule and coordinate with Construction Quality Control Manager if any delays observed.

Perform basic machine set-up and maintenance based on the requirements

Experience working in a production assembly line or as a factory worker

Day shift, weekdays - Monday - Friday

Working on the assembly line of capillary tubes according to required specifications

Ensure that products are aligned to the company standards and guidelines

Participates in activities and discussions regarding improvements to the products and the processes

10 years management experience with over 30 employees.

Assist Production Manager in improving systems for production control, standard operating procedure, safety, quality control, and performance management.

Understand, comply, and enforce all safety rules and policies along with all PPE requirements at all times.

Associate’s degree or High School diploma/GED with two years of related leadership experience in manufacturing.

Electrical or mechanical trade certificate with 10 years minimum experience manufacturing oil field equipment.

Encourage a safety mindset at all times, and work to continuously improve the safety culture.
