We are working together with one of our clients who is a leading manufacturer of medical diagnostic products in staffing for assembly line workers to assist in their busy production facility. They are looking for reliable, driven and experienced assemblers who are keen on detail, flexible, and able to stand for long periods of time.
Location: near the airport parkway
The position is a contract role until the end of April
Start: ASAP
Rate: 20/hr
Shift: 7 am - 3:30pm - Monday - Friday (37.5 working hours)

- Ensure that products are aligned to the company standards and guidelines
- Performs basic troubleshooting in the production line when needed.
- Working on the assembly line of capillary tubes according to required specifications
- Assist and train new employees when needed
- Participates in activities and discussions regarding improvements to the products and the processes
- Provides the needed data sheets required for production
- Perform basic machine set-up and maintenance based on the requirements
- Physical
- Able to work with a team or independently
- Extended periods of standing or sitting
- Comfortable doing repetitive work
- Manual dexterity and the ability to assemble small, fine materials quickly and efficiently
- Ability to distinguish between colours
- Experience working in a production assembly line or as a factory worker
