Ami Network Analyst Jobs

5+ years of hands-on experience and expert knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks, and applications.

8+ years of Network Analyst industry experience

8+ years of experience with Unified Communication systems i.e. Oracle, Cisco required

5+ years of experience with Telephony Vendor systems and processes

Previous experience working within the Banking/Financial Industry

Expert Knowledge of Regulatory bodies (internal and external) and Vendor contracts

- Migration to Cisco Catalyst / DNA Center for Wireless monitoring and management

1 year knowledge and experience of MPLS and VPLS technologies.

3 years hands-on experience with Cisco OTV/ACI and the deployment of VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager (SRM).

2 years experience in developing front-end requirements for emerging technologies (feasibility, analysis and design phases).

- Transition Cisco ASA Firewalls to the Cisco Secure Firewall platform (formerly FTD, managed using FMC)

• provide cross training and knowledge transfer to team members.

Policy management and control platforms for wired, wireless and VPN

Hands-on Experience with the following is required:

Enterprise WAN connections including MPLS & Internet

Campus Wired & Wireless environments

Network-based security appliances such as firewalls & intrusion prevention system (IPS)

Room-based video collaboration endpoints and video interoperability systems

Experience with asset management – tracking, maintenance, disposal

Experience providing L1/L2 support, troubleshooting connectivity and configuration issues.

Experience utilizing ticketing system (i.e., ITSM, Remedy)

Experience decommissioning Network routers and switches, wireless access points, and other network devices.

Experience preparing and organizing new hardware prior to installation.

Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation of network configurations, changes, and incident resolution.

Load-balancer (F5) configuration knowledge is an asset.

Firewall (Palo Alto and Fortinet) configuration knowledge is an asset.

Five years of demonstrated experience with network equipment implementation/planning, site assessments, application of network standards, and network issue problem-solving / troubleshooting.

Professional-level vendor certification (such as CCNP, PCNSE, etc)

Perform site visits and assessments.

Create project documentation – Design document, Method of Procedure, As-built document.

Support the incident, change and problem management processes.

Manage incident queue and effectively prioritize and triage incidents based on critical devices and shared services.

Manage escalations with internal client teams and 3rd party vendors.

Manage chronic, repeat and aging incidents with proper internal/external escalations.

3 years of experience in Network Operations

3 years of In-depth experience troubleshooting Network operation systems

Requires experience in telecom tariffs and commercial service offerings, carrier organizations, re-sellers, etc.

Design and write software programs to meet specific requirements including configuration, programming, testing, documenting and implementation.

Work with clients across the Corporation to discuss AMI network requirements and new hardware or software facilities.

A period of over 6 years and up to and including 8 years is considered necessary to gain this experience.

Install new vendor supplied network hardware and software solutions. Select parameters, generate, test and implement.

Assist in the resolution of meter and AMI network device trouble reports using established procedures, practices and operational tools.
