Airport Security Service Technologist Jobs

Experience in a position of authority focusing on comportment and mitigation of situations involving enforcement, conflict management and anger diffusion;

Experience and/or training in responding to emergency situations;

Experience providing safety and security services in the Aviation industry would be an asset.

Well-developed interpersonal skills involving professional interactions with the public and industry stakeholders;

Valid Transportation Security Clearance upon hire;

Ability to work independently and in a team environment;

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Criminal Justice, or related field of study

Experience in the management of personnel in a unionized environment

Management experience in the Aviation Security Industry in a unionized environment

Compile shift reports for the screening area under their management

Conduct workplace investigations with the guidance of Human Resources and senior management

Conduct interviews with employees as per the Attendance Management Policy and Program

Providing excellent customer service to both the client and its guests

Emergency response: Ability to respond to incident/emergency situations and follow required protocol

Identify and reporting safety hazards

Visual security presence - detect and deter unauthorized persons

Coordinating and liaising with the police or emergency personnel when required

Adhere to Securiguard's core Values, Vision, Mission statement

Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be using a radio and writing reports.

Gain valuable experience as a steppingstone into a law enforcement career

Class 5 Driver's license and a clean drivers abstract

Physically fit, able to stand for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
