We are looking for a team player who is experienced in providing security services in a regulatory setting. This position requires a combination of strong interpersonal skills as well as an eye for detail. The successful candidate will demonstrate pride in providing excellent customer service as well as the ability to remain professional and tactful in challenging situations.
This position is responsible for airport activity surveillance and carrying out safety/security procedures to ensure the safety/security of airport users and personnel.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience and/or training in responding to emergency situations;
  • Experience providing safety and security services in the Aviation industry would be an asset.
  • Valid Transportation Security Clearance upon hire;
  • Experience in a position of authority focusing on comportment and mitigation of situations involving enforcement, conflict management and anger diffusion;

Additional Information
Conditions of Employment:
Possess and maintain a valid Transportation Security Clearance, Class “D” Airside Vehicle Operators Permit, Restricted Radio Operators License (must be obtained within 30 days of hire) and Valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s licence.
Job Requirements
Shift work, including working weekends and stat holidays, working in adverse weather conditions and wearing a uniform provided by the department.
