Aircraft Design Engineer Jobs

You hold a bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering as well as a minimum five (5) years of accomplished experience.

You have MRB or MAP experience in commercial / business aircraft and / or previous MRB delegation is a huge plus!

You possess knowledge of the following tools: NASTRAN, PATRAN, HYPERMESH, CATIA V5, NASGRO, MS Office, and VBA programming.

•Prepare technical reports to show compliance to the applicable certification requirements.

•Prepare and define Technical Requirement Documents and Engineering Technical Assessments

•Review and approve vendor requirement specifications, design/ substantiation documentation.

•Support aircraft production including problem solving and snag resolution (MRB experience)

•You have 10+ years of experience working to integrate Fuel & FTIS changes at aircraft level.

•Independent to manage tasks directly with supplier and client stakeholders

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Manage design change certification projects to deliver escape system improvements to the fleet.

Support Fleet Management through the establishment and adaptation of Maintenance Schedules.

Manage the configuration Escape Systems

Manage contractors (issue RFQs, review proposals, track performance, assess deliverables) to complete design change projects concerning escape systems.

Conduct feasibility studies and analyze customer requirements to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards. 2

Document analyses and findings in engineering certification reports and presentations (English)

You have 6 to 10 years of experience in external loads analyses in aerospace

You have experience programming in Matlab, Python, Fortran, or C/C++

You have knowledge in aircraft flight dynamics

You have good organizational skills in planning work activities and completing tasks within budget/schedule, and can work under pressure

Use a range of commercial and in-house tools

•You possess a working knowledge of Part 25 certification requirements.

•Calculate, analyze and document certified and/or operational aircraft performance data, for example:

Knowledge doing rework fixes, hence Non-Incorporated Engineering Order (NIEO) and EO doc

Good knowledge of Catia V5/V6 (mechanical workbenches) related to primary structure

Good knowledge of ENOVIA VPM / LCA

Basic knowledge of Structural Repair Manual (SRM)

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace

Minimum 5 years in primary structure design in aerospace field.
