Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to assist with the admissions and application process

Hold strong knowledge of college programs

Manage inquiries and respond in a timely manner

Manage document collection for qualified candidates to complete the enrollment process

Extensive sales experience an asset

Leading the management of the online application experience for prospective students and families

Oversight and assistance with the management of the admissions database

Evaluating potential candidates and families in consultation with the Director of Enrollment Management

Assisting the Director of Enrollment Management in researching and implementing mission-appropriate admissions assessments

Supporting the Director of Enrollment Management in the development and implementation of recruitment and retention strategies

Attending ISABC Director of Admissions/Enrollment Management meetings as a proxy when the Director of Enrollment Management is not available to attend

Complete ticket sales, upgrades, and parking sales. Sell and process season pass transactions.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize workload

Affinity with and interest in education and an ability to evaluate student academic qualifications against the School’s admissions requirements

Strong Computer Skills, including excellent knowledge of MS Office and databases

Post-Secondary Education in a discipline relevant to Communications or Public Relations or a related field

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the Communications or Marketing/PR field and/or School Admissions

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Passionate about the role of education in society and helping people achieve their personal and professional goals.

Capacity to work well independently and organize and manage multiple tasks within demanding deadlines.

MUST live in Canada. We have a strong preference for candidates residing in HALIFAX, NS.

Current senior student or recent university graduate with an English or Journalism background.

Excellent written and oral communication. Outstanding ability to communicate complex ideas in writing.

Highest attention to detail, organized, and methodical.
