Accommodation Advisor Jobs

Works with departmental staff and management to understand project operational needs and objectives related to space.

Prepares communications to staff and management regarding project status updates.

Minimum two (2) years related experience or equivalent accommodation planning experience with responsibilities for project coordination and monitoring.

Manages information in accordance with legislation and corporate standards.

Demonstrated presentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and with teams and with ability to manage competing priorities.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Wellness initiatives, Attendance Management, Accommodation and data retrieval & analysis.

Experience with Attendance Management, Accommodation and data retrieval and analysis preferred.

Demonstrated computer skills are required, including database management.

Knowledge of training and adult education principles.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related role required. Experience within a health care setting preferred.

Recent experience in a leadership and/or supervisory role preferred.

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Proven experience as an Appointment Assistant, Virtual Assistant, or similar role

Ability to work remotely and independently

Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and processes

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Property Manager experience an asset

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

Providing welcoming service to all colleagues arriving to the colleague housing office, offering cuonsel and support when necessary

Participate with data entry and follow through of purchasing utilizing the purchase order system

Manage all unit inventory including furniture, supplies, etc.

Experience providing accommodations, academic support, or services to persons with disabilities, preferably postsecondary students with disabilities

Familiarity using databases for case management

Screening (for suspected disabilities learning disabilities, mental health and ADHD) and making referrals to appropriate services

Reviewing course delivery to assess the impact the disability may have in accessing education

Generate accommodation summaries for students upon request for use with petitions, appeals, or ongoing education

Consulting with students and advising around complex issues related to specific disabilities

· Ongoing maintenance of system (MEDITECH) dictionaries and associated Management Information System (MIS) & B/AR databases.

· Ability to respond toward requirement changes and manage conflicting deadlines appropriately.

Department: Finance – Accounts Receivable

· Supporting B/AR Clerks as required.

· Health Information System experience an asset (MEDITECH-Admissions, B/AR, General Ledger & MIS Database).

· Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards (OHRS) knowledge (preferred).
