A DAY IN THE LIFE


In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site near Moncton, NB, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day working on 60 annual services. You also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). Most of our towers have service lifts. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day and will travel a minimum of 25% per year. This site has great opportunities to be able to grow within Vestas.

✓ You will bring at least a year of wind experience or 2-3 years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
