Responsibilities
  • Perform all welding and fabrication to support production requirements including repairs to bins, equipment, and plant maintenance.
  • Review project direction with Project Leader or Tool & Die Maker
  • Ensure that the customer’s requirements, which include project timing part quality and delivery are understood and met
  • Ensure the shop environment is kept safe, clean and organized to enable timely and safe manufacturing techniques
  • Filling out parts used form No.PU021.
  • Completion of necessary paperwork including work orders, log board entries, line book revisions as required in a timely manner.
  • Fabricate equipment and accessories for improved productivity as needed.
  • Be responsible for all parameters of assigned tasks
  • Assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement suggestions on the production line.
  • Attend meetings as required
Qualifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • CWB Certified welder OR minimum 5 years welding experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
