As we are a small team, this role will require balancing project management and production tasks, as necessary, so we are looking for a hands-on individual with production experience.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Be the glue that holds the project team together: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, copywriters, digital specialists and account managers, to guarantee a smooth project flow from strategy to launch, even from the comfort of your own home
• Proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks, ensuring timely delivery and on-budget outcomes for projects of all sizes
• Onboard team members fully and efficiently to all projects, ensuring alignment across departments
• Develop and implement project plans to align with our client's objectives, timelines, and budgets, all while staying true to the creative vision and commitment to excellence
• Perform quality assurance on design and development while also acting as the primary funnel for incoming feedback
• Own the client relationship as the primary communicator with client stakeholders. Work with Account Services to ensure project needs are met and the client experience is excellent

Strategic Leadership

• Facilitate both client and internal stakeholder communication for subjective inputs and deftly process requests to ensure a successful outcome
• Lead recommendations to improve conversion rates and e-commerce & DTC performance
• Actively gatekeep internal team members ensuring that industry best practices are adhered to for UX/UI, accessibility requirements and finished programming
• Oversee web copywriting in combination with Account Managers ensuring high-performing copy is written and that SEO best practices are being used
• Guide projects ensuring a balance between creative storytelling and strategic goals and conversions
• Lead the Web Strategy ensuring that all project decisions are guided by strong, documented rationale.

Technical Support

• Exploring APIs, platforms and tools combining in complex ways are common needs and clients lean on you for this guidance
• Many projects require technical assessments and planning which could mean getting your hands dirty. Migrating a website or having to work with DNS are common scenarios

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has:

• A contagious enthusiasm for creating high-performing websites that tell a story and delight both users and clients.
• We love a good sense of humor!
• A deep understanding of web development technologies, UX/UI design principles, and best practices, with the ability to speak fluently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong client leadership and communication skills, with experience motivating remote teams to achieve their best work
• At least 5+ years of agency experience managing digital projects, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality web experiences on time and on budget
• Experience building and optimizing e-commerce and DTC sites, preferably in Shopify and WooCommerce platforms
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to seamlessly adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
