A day in the life:


  • You’ll support on conceptual model development, data analysis, and numerical modelling
  • You will be supported in your career by a caring team, and you will appreciate having a mentor assigned to you who is a steady asset for your career development that is fully committed to providing sage career advice and guidance on a regular basis.
  • You’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to complete environmental impact assessments for large mining operations
  • You’ll support with preparing reports, proposals, and presentations
  • You’ll collaborate to develop new models and modifying existing models
  • You’ll be using various models to evaluate potential effects on water quality for clients in the mining and natural resource sector


What You'll Bring To WSP ...


  • You want to experience what it’s like to work for the leading environmental consulting firm globally and be part of a growing and thriving team!
  • 1 to 3 years of work or research experience in one of the following the fields: hydrodynamic modelling of waterbodies, water quality modelling, water resources engineering, or environmental engineering/sciences
  • A university degree in water resources engineering, bioresources engineering, environmental science or environmental engineering
  • Experience using CE-QUAL-W2 would be a great asset
  • Familiarity and experience using any hydrodynamic modelling software would be an asset
  • A keen interest to learn on the job
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
