Warehouse / Yard Worker Jobs

Gillfor Distribution is seeking a Warehouse / Yard Worker to join our branch in Edmonton, Alberta. As part of our Lumber Yard team at our Edmonton Distribution Centre, you will work in a team environment reporting directly to our Shipping Supervisor. You will be responsible for efficiently and accurately assembling customer orders, serving customers in the yard, maintaining the presentation and organization of warehouse materials and loading customer trucks. This is a full-time, in-person position at our Edmonton location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pick and pack customer orders
• Serve customers as they enter the yard
• Load and unload building materials operating a forklift

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and minimum 1 year experience of operation
• Detail-oriented with commitment to doing things right
• Strong customer service skills
• Previous experience in lumber and building material industry
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 60 lbs on a daily basis
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
