Salary: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Contract Type: Temporary - Full-time hours with possibility for OT

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Temp Loader to join our client's team in Edmonton. As a Warehouse Temp Loader, you will be responsible for loading and offloading trucks with packaged and bulk lubricants, operating a forklift truck, and unloading finished lubricants from railcars. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive production line duties. The successful candidate will contribute to the team's success by maintaining high-quality standards, participating in team meetings, and continuously improving processes and quality.

Detailed :

• Perform repetitive production line duties
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to processes and quality improvements
• Load and offload trucks of packaged and bulk lubricants
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines
• Report and log production data using log sheets and computer terminals
• Receive ongoing on-the-job training to keep skills and qualifications current
• Maintain effective communication with team members
• Utilize production-related computer systems such as SAP and Windows
• Operate a forklift truck (indoor operation, propane & electric stand-up)
• Unload finished lubricants from railcars
• Follow all job tasks outlined in the department ISO Quality Procedure Manual

Candidate's Profile:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid Alberta driver's license
• Ability to lift heavy objects weighing less than 50 lbs.
• 3+ years of general labor work experience
• Previous warehousing experience is an asset
• Previous railcar loading/unloading experience is an asset
• Current forklift operating certificate is an asset
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift and/or operating equipment experience (indoor operation, propane & electric stand-up)
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
