Rail Car Loading and Unloading experience preferred.

7 am - 3h30 pm

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Basic understanding of mechanical equipment.

Operation of hand tools and air tools preferred.

Load rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products

Work closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product

Handle material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment

When not on deliveries, you will be required to perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping, and receiving

Maintain clean and organized work environments in the store and yard

Receive ongoing on-the-job training to keep skills and qualifications current

3+ years of general labor work experience

Forklift and/or operating equipment experience (indoor operation, propane & electric stand-up)

Previous warehousing experience is an asset

Previous railcar loading/unloading experience is an asset

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Inspects trailer interiors for cleanliness.

Loads pallets onto trucks or trailers in proper sequence per computer generated loadsheet.

Hand stacks product on trucks when necessary.

Secures pallets with load bars or load straps.

Verifies that all pallets are placed on the correct truck.

At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information

At least 6 months of retail experience

At least 6 months of experience as a Loader at other home improvement or hardware retailers

At least 6 months of retail merchandising experience, including performing Zone Recovery, stocking, downstocking, facing/fronting products, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping

Work autonomously in a cross-functional, agile product group with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Analysts to prioritize and build new features

You have at least 2-4 years of experience designing modern products

Proven track record of designing completely new experiences and end-to-end features
