WAREHOUSE AND QUALITY SPECIALIST
Purpose
The goal of the Warehouse and Quality Specialist is to execute, coordinate, and support the business for the in-house team, Field team, and Project Manager. This role will check the quality of incoming materials, order parts, ensure material is available as needed, and track and record parts within our ERP system.
Responsibilities
  • Executes packaging & declaration of Dangerous Goods
  • Coordinates and executes inventory optimization and permanent inventory count
  • Coordinates and executes Warehousing of completed projects including tracking and recording in our ERP system, based on different planning tools
  • Completes quality check of incoming material, including battery testing for their functionality
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of shipments using forklift and overhead crane (training to be provided internally)
  • Maintain oversight of incoming items from different global locations to consolidate and resolve related issues
  • Coordinates and participates in the timely determination and order of parts as required for project preparations and ensure on time material availability, including tracking and recording in our ERP system
  • Ensure provision of project parts to preparation teams/ staging areas accordance with project schedules
  • Pro-actively escalate unforeseen delays and changes and communicate them both internally and to affected stakeholders
Requirements
Education
  • A vocational training, certificate, or similar education in warehouse operations or related field is required
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a material management role is required
  • Basic experience in creating appropriate documentation and driving continuous improvement processes
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with warehouse operations is required
