The Opportunity:

Trojan Technologies is seeking a full time EHS Specialist to join our team in Guelph, Ontario.

What Will I Be Doing?

Working on-site 40 hours per week, you’ll spend your days collaborating with colleagues, supporting multiple departments ( HR, OPS, R&D) demonstrating your analytical and problem-solving skillsMore specifically, you can expect to:

• Be responsible for WSIB claims management, partnering with HR, OPS, R&D, and other functional leaders.
• Ensure compliance with all Trojan Technologies policies and procedures, as well as with all federal, provincial, and local government EHS regulations.
• Develop and execute action plans to continuously improve the maturity of the site's EHS program through the Danaher Maturity Assessment Tool.
• Participate in internal on-site and cross-site audits, with a focus on risk containment and the closure of audit findings
• Lead site teams in completing and updating qualitative risk assessments.

What Qualifications Do I Need?

• Professional designation (CRSP or CRST) is preferred
• 3+ years of EHS experience.
• Strong understanding of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, Industrial Regulations, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or other applicable field(s).
