The Video Editor is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of high quality, internal and external strategic communications in support of the organization’s goals and priorities. The Editor will edit, animate, and publish video content on internal and external channels. As a member of the Creative team (think of it as our internal agency), this role requires a passionate storyteller with an eye for detail, and the technical skills to see the postproduction process through from ingestion to publishing.

Your Impact

• Create various types of content including long-form, short-form, documentary-style, news-style, educational and social media vignettes
• Develop concepts and tactics with the creative and marketing teams that address business goals
• Elevate 2D/3D workflow by identifying opportunities for innovation and making recommendations about which technologies to invest in
• Edit video footage and still images into compelling stories that impact our audiences
• You show extreme ownership for postproduction—from improving workflows to raising the bar in terms of quality
• You archive content and maintain a highly organized library of video and audio assets
• You research industry trends and pitch new ideas, designs and story concepts
• You will contribute to the ongoing expansion of new content across all of our products
• You colour correct and audio mix

About You

• Owner of a portfolio showcasing shipped projects and case studies
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Film/Video/Photography Production or experience in a related field
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to various locations
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Cinema 4D/Blender, 2D & 3D Animation
• Experience working in Digital/Creative Marketing
• Able to work independently on projects or collaboratively with a team
• Experienced in the creation of content for all social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube
• You have a Minimum 3 years’ experience in news, commercial, corporate or documentary post production
• Willing to learn and work in a hyper-growth company
• Organized, efficient and able to handle multiple projects and priorities at once
