Job Description

Valuation Analyst

As a Valuation Analyst at Williams & Partners Corporate Advisory, Financial and Valuation Services Inc., you will be part of the team involved in servicing our clients representing a wide array of businesses.You will be involved in assisting in a full range of valuation and corporate advisory services through our hands-on, personalized approach.

This position will provide an incomparable learning and development opportunity for a new graduate looking to start their career in Valuation and Corporate Advisory Services. You will be mentored and supported as you develop along your career path while being given exciting opportunities for advancement within the organization.


The ideal candidate will have graduated this year or last year from a university, have strong technical and analytical skills and have a desire to continually learn, embrace challenges, and grow with our Valuation team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Preparation of Engagement Letters, Information Requests, Letters of Representation, and Term Sheets
  • Detailed financial statement analysis
  • Preparation of Valuation Reports consistent with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators
  • Development of Valuation Models supportable by CICBV standards

(CICBV) standards

  • Preparation of documents to support clients with Mergers and Acquisitions, such as 1-page Information

Sheets or Confidential Information Memorandums

  • Conducting industry and economic research
  • Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned


Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with strong quantitative skills
  • Team player with strong desire to learn while being challenged, mentored and supported as you develop
  • Pursing a CPA designation or CBV designation
  • Demonstrates academic excellence and leadership

  • Strong computer and financial modeling skills, with expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and various general
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Is motivated and an enthusiastic self-starter
  • Have strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated, committed, and flexible to cope with changing priorities and strict deadlines
