Unity C# Developer II - SDK Full-Time in Waterloo, ON - Mid Level - Engineering
Seeking a Unity C# developer to help in building an Unity application that can stream interactive experience via peer to peer network. In this role you will work hand to hand with our Lead engineer in defining and creating components for delivering content to the end user devices. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and support robust server and p2p Unity streaming app. • Integrate and support 3rd party SDK to the streaming app.
Key skills: • Has strong, proven skills with Unity and C#. • Knows how peer to peer network connection works. • Has experience with WebRTC or similar technologies. • Understands how Unity is rendering the scene. • Familiar with rendering engine development, plug-in design. • Understands and is capable of writing a good quality code. • Ability to balance pragmatic and ideal engineering practices. • Has experience with git or similar version control system. • Has ability to communicate with the engineering team in English.
Good to have skills: • Knowledge about how popular video codecs and understanding concepts. • Implemented projects using Unity Render Streaming or similar technologies. • Experience with client-server architectures.

Education and Experience
We are most interested in what you have accomplished and your demonstrated ability to succeed in this role. You may have some or all of the following: • A degree in engineering or computer science. • 3 or more years of experience in a similar position. • Experience working with local and remote teams, including experience working internationally.
