New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a UI Software Developer to help our client deliver cutting-edge flight data analytics SaaS products to commercial and military customers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members, PO, Product Managers in an Agile environment
• Think big on the future of our products, and work closely with tech lead and architect in improving current systems on HA, Scalability, Fault Tolerance, HA, performance and Operation Excellence.
• Mentor lower-level software engineers on technologies, processes, and domain knowledge
• Perform and manage the activities of personnel involved with the development, documenting, interfacing, integration, testing and support of complex classified and unclassified software
• Take feature level ownership, including design, development, CI/CD, sufficient monitoring and alarming to key features of SaaS
• Dive deep into cloud services and solutions and understand GCP, Azure or AWS

Requirements:

• Keen interest in design/UX principles and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to actively contribute to design discussions
• Experience working with Cloud development
• 4+ year of hands-on experience with ReactJS
• Practical knowledge of browser APIs and expertise in JSON & REST API architecture, including active participation in API schema design and integration discussions
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure or AWS
• Experience working in a global technology organization and managing many stakeholders
• Aviation and Aerospace industry experience
• Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ year of experience developing high-quality code using JavaScript/Typescript (ES5, ES6+) with expertise in concepts such as async, functional programming, types, and closures
• Thorough understanding of HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS (Sass or styled-components), and adept at web concepts like mobile layout, responsiveness, specificity, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility
• Proven track record of working on large-scale, well-maintained codebases, with a strong focus on UI and design systems
• Deep knowledge of the software development life cycle, including coding principles (e.g. SOLID), coding standards, code reviews, and source control management
