THE POSITION
Keyera is currently seeking a Trucking and TDG Specialist to join our Calgary based Commercial Operations team. This position will be responsible for scheduling trucks related to Keyera and 3rd party business. In addition to proactively monitoring truck movements and nominations you will oversee administration of TDG/ERP details, training, and audits. This position will also provide back-up support within the logistics group as required and be responsible for ensuring information is effectively communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of TDG/ERP details, training, and audits.
• Actively manage Truck input into Keyera's system including Drivers/Trailers/Carriers and insurance certificates, nominations, reconcile nominations with actual deliveries and manage discrepancies.
• Track and analyze Truck nominations to ensure contractual alignment and capacity availability.
• Assist in coordinating and managing facility outages.
• Help develop the base of knowledge within the logistics crew and communicate with our regulatory crew.
• Provide detailed reporting on customer activities as well as ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
• Administer trucker information in terms of MCA's and ISN requirements.
• Secure long-term carrier arrangements for C3+ C3, C4 and C5; working closely with the Marketing teams and carriers.
• Communicate effectively with customers, facilities and connecting pipeline and work closely with internal and external customers to optimize assets and service delivery.
• Assist with the day-to-day logistics activities including Rail, Pipeline and Storage responsibilities.
• Handle day to day trucking requirements for Keyera.
• Manage truck contracts for all parties at designated facilities, actively tracking loads within and between adjoining facilities.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will be well-organized, energetic, and service oriented with the following qualifications:

• Ability to ensure detailed product flows are managed within the broader context of facility capabilities, varied contractual obligations, and changing operational conditions.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organization skills.
• Must be available to work a on call rotation.
• Advanced ability in Excel and Microsoft suite.
• 2 or more years of experience in trucking and scheduling for C3+, C3, C4 and C5+ as well as exposure to truck movements.
• A Certificate/Diploma in a related field: Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
• Working knowledge of Marketing, Accounting and Logistics systems (eg E-one, GeoMetrix, Dearman or a similar trucking platform) is an asset.
• Previous related work experience in logistics is an asset.
• Highly organized, self-motivated individual with great attention to detail.
