Truck And Coach Technician

TalentWorld is sourcing a 310T Mechanic for our client in Newmarket.

Our client is the leader in the industry, specifically battery-electric automobiles, buses, medium- and heavy-duty trucks and forklifts.

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, the 310T Mechanic will repair all buses, understand and complete vehicle reports and enter work orders electronically.

310T Mechanic Responsibilities

• Work with Customer Service Manager to respond accordingly to customer’s needs and resolve them by prioritizing appropriately.
• Provide customer interface and reports on field maintenance activities.
• Initiate parts orders with our parts operations team to ensure the timely processing of orders.
• Perform diagnosis and repairs of warranty-related issues.
• Provide daily Service reports/Parts requisitions as needed.

310T Mechanic Qualifications

• A good clean driving record demonstrates the ability to operate a company/customer vehicle safely.
• General knowledge of truck, bus, automotive and/or vehicle systems.
• 2+ years’ experience in transit and/or commercial vehicle industries.
• Must have a valid B or C-class driving license with a Z endorsement.
• A 310-T license is required.

Employment conditions

• Day Shifts 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Salary: Around $87,000 based on experience
