Job Description

We have an opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of internationals who dream of working and traveling in Canada.

You will love this position if you are driven, focused on getting the best results, and are always willing to go the extra mile. You understand the value of excellent service and how much attention to detail is key in customer service. This role requires a high level of engagement, adaptability and the confidence to move quickly. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy meeting and working with people from other countries and being a mentor.

We are looking for a highly motivated Travel Specialist, whose responsibility is to deliver the best possible value to our participants. Customer satisfaction is always at the forefront of our minds, and we're committed to providing a 12 out of 10 experience to participants! Don't believe us? Check our google reviews and you will see what we mean!

The ideal candidate is passionate about providing truly great customer experiences, while going above and beyond to create a personalized service for clients. Does this describe you? If so, we want to talk to you!

You will also work directly to support an international scheme (International Experience Canada) as we are a Recognized Organization (RO) with the Government of Canada.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Informing and problem-solving with applicants on any and all program questions.
  • Managing and Coordinating participants arriving in Canada to start their adventure: arranging arrivals, pre-departure orientations, managing hostel reservations, shuttles, organizing staff housing accommodation, collecting payments, etc.
  • Identify service gaps, using your unique connection to our participant base to be their voice in initiatives for our company.
  • Drive growth through revenue generating activities with qualifying leads (via video calls, email and social media) to educate them about our work and travel experiences and inspire them to sign up.
  • Ensuring all applications and other documents are assessed and processed within established deadlines.
  • Participate in creating content and videos for sales and marketing.
  • Work directly with participants to prepare Canadian work permit applications (International Experience Canada) from beginning to end.
  • Create an exceptional customer experience by proactively engaging with participants to ensure their needs are understood and met during their stay in Canada.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You thrive in a collaborative environment but can also produce quality work independently.
  • Empathetic and understanding. You always take the time to think about things from participant's perspective and what the outcome of your actions might be.
  • Effective at multi-tasking with good attention to detail; take pride in being organized and can juggle competing priorities.
  • Goal and results oriented.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Sales or Project Management
  • Passionate about travelling and able to encourage that spark in others.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or Tourism studies.
  • For you, going above and beyond is the only way you know how to work.
  • Great communication and customer service skills are a MUST
  • Able to trouble shoot using critical-thinking skills in a complex and deadline-oriented environment.

WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING HERE

  • You will be part of an amazing Government of Canada project!
  • Full health and dental benefits
  • Every day is a new day - you won't get bored!
  • Growth opportunities. If you have innovative ideas, we will support their implementation.
  • Hybrid work environment
  • No micro managing. We are a supportive and collaborative workplace
  • Make a positive impact by offering life-changing experiences to people.
