Transport Driver Jobs

Summary

• Our Drivers are responsible for building and transporting the food galleys to the airlines specifications for all scheduled flights. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with time constraints to meet arrival and departure goals. A professional and positive image helps when talking with the flight crew and our airline partners!

Job Duties

• Responsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of food and goods, including loading and offloading
• Transport, load and unload the aircraft galleys from the warehouse to the aircraft
• Constantly communicate with other catering personnel, and respective airline communication centers if applicable

Some requirements needed:

• Must successfully complete airline specific training programs and recertification
• Ability to obtain necessary airport and/or Transport Canada security clearances
• Ability to work on a permanent basis in Canada
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedules
• Ability to obtain necessary airport vehicle operators permit
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work within the required time parameters
• Obtain a clear criminal record
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Must be capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 70lbs on a regular basis

Wage: $20.50/hour with RAIC $22.50/hour
