Tire Technician (Edmonton, Heritage)

Fountain Tire Edmonton (Heritage), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe and dedicated associates to join our team as an Expierenced Automotive Tire Technician.

Pay Starting at $20 / hour + labour commission

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing car, suv, & light truck tires
• Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
• Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Reset and Repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
• Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field!

Working conditions

• Weekday shifts with alternating weekend shifts
• This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling
• Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required
• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
• A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
• A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
• A team player who takes pride in their work
• We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running - 1 year of experience required
